Weight loss with personal training in The Hague
Losing weight sustainably comes down to three things: training smart, eating in a way that fits your life and habits you can keep. Your personal trainer helps you with all three.

How personal training helps you lose weight
Strength training as the foundation
Strength training helps you keep your muscle mass while losing weight. That way you mainly lose fat and get stronger at the same time.
Nutrition that fits your life
No strict diet, but realistic choices. Several trainers have a background in nutrition, such as dietitian Leonie, human movement scientist Finn and nutritionist Tomas.
Habits and motivation
A fixed appointment with your trainer helps you keep going. Your trainer tracks your progress and adjusts where needed.

How to build up weight loss step by step
Weight loss works best when you build it up gradually. This is what a typical approach looks like; your trainer adapts it to your goal, level and schedule.
Weeks 1-4: the basics
You learn the basic exercises with the right technique and train 2 to 3 times a week. You also pick one or two habits to start with, such as eating more protein or walking every day.
Weeks 5-8: building up
Training gets harder step by step: more weight, more reps or more exercises. Your nutrition becomes a fixed routine, without having to weigh or count everything.
Weeks 9-12: keeping it up
You look back together: how are your strength, energy, clothes and measurements? Based on that, your trainer adjusts the plan so your results last and you do not fall back.
What really helps you lose weight
- Strength training 2 to 3 times a week, so you keep your muscle mass
- A portion of protein and vegetables with every meal
- Enough sleep: too little sleep makes you hungrier and increases cravings
- Moving every day outside the gym, such as walking or cycling
- Measure more than the scale: also your waist, your strength and how your clothes fit
Is losing weight with a trainer right for you?
- You want to lose weight, but cannot make it last on your own
- You want to learn how to train properly and safely
- You are looking for structure and someone who keeps you on track
- You do not want to train in a busy gym
